Dear customer,
Thank you for purchasing our Brushless Motor Controller. This is a
new generation of sensorless speed controllers, with the latest
in software design to support ALL types of brushless
motors.
Please read and pay careful attention to the following
instructions before you use your motor and
controller.
Wire Connections:
The speed controller can be connected to the motor by soldering it
directly or by using high quality connectors.
Always use new connectors, which should be soldered carefully to
the cables and insulated with heat shrink tubing. The maximum length
of the wires leading to the battery pack shall be no more than 6 inches.
Controller to the motor wires.
Solder appropriate connectors to the battery wires.
Insulate all solder connectors with heat shrink tubes.
Plug the JR connector into the receiver throttle channel.
The Controllers Red and Black wires connect to the battery pack Red
and Black wires respectively.
Installing the Controller:
Install the controller in the model so that it is free from vibration and
shock using Velcro or double sided foam tape. Make sure there is
sufficient cooling for the motor and controller by ducting air
through cooling holes for outside airflow.
Failure to adequately cool the motor or controller could cause them to
Over heat and become damaged.
Normal start up:
Switch on transmitter and check throttle settings are +/-100% (for
computer radio).
For Futaba Radio’s program the Servo Reverse function on the
throttle channel.
Ensure throttle stick is in the down or brake position;
Switch on Transmitter
Connect battery pack to the controller
Receiver switches On (BEC switch on).
You will hear one beep for Brake on or two tones for Brake off.
The position of full throttle will be calibrated automatically.
You motor now is ready to run.
WARNING:
Always connect the motor battery pack just before flight and
disconnect it immediately after landing.
Once the motor battery pack is connected, handle the model
with extreme care!
Ensure that you are well clear of the propeller at all times as the rotating
propeller is extremely dangerous!
Even when the receiver (BEC) switch is OFF, remember
the motor battery pack may still be connected. Handle
the model with extreme care and stay clear of the propeller!
Factory default settings;
Brake: Off
Battery type: Li-Poly
Under voltage: Reduce power
Soft start: Enable
Timing: Auto
Frequency: 8KHz
RPM Control: Off
How to program your controller:
Switch on the transmitter and push the throttle stick to full
throttle.
Connect the motor battery pack and turn on the receiver
(BEC) switch.
Wait for 5 sec, you will tones setup mode is entered: __ --
When you hear the desired tones, pull the throttle down, then you
will hear two confirmation tones. The setting is now saved.
You can only change one setting at a time, if you need to change
more settings, disconnect the motor battery pack and wait 5
seconds, and repeat above procedure for next setting.
You can exit the programming mode at any time if you disconnect
the battery from ESC.
1. Setting up the prop Brake on or off
Follow above procedure enter to the programming mode.
If you pull the throttle stick to off within 5 sec, Brake will be
changed. (ON to OFF, or OFF to ON)
2. Battery type
(Select battery type which is being used in your model, you can select
2-6 LiPo for ESC of 40, 60 and 85 amps.
2x LiPo:

3x LiPo:

4x LiPo:

5x LiPo:

6x Lipo:

3. LVC (low voltage cut-off LVC)
If the motor battery pack drops to the programmed cut-off voltage,
the controller will either ignore, reduce the motor speed, or stop the
motor to ensure that there is enough power for the receiver and
servos. You can resume to normal operation
by pulling down the throttle stick and push up again, but remember
that it’s time to land you model!
reduce power:
(reduce motor speed to half throttle)
_- _- _- _- _-
cut off:
(stop motor immediately)
-_ -_ -_ -_ -_
Ignore
(motor won’t stop until battery is totally discharged)
_-- _-- _-- _-- _--
4. Rotation reverse
This function is to change the motor rotation direction.
(for example: Right to Left, or vice versa)
Reverse motor rotation
W W W W W
5. Soft start (Acceleration)
When gearbox drive system is used, It’s highly recommended to
enable the Soft start.
Because it’s protecting the gearbox, a
large diameter of propeller is used.
Disable the soft start function when direct drive system is used or
If used in speed competition
Enable:
VV VV VV VV VV
Disable:
V V V V V
6. Timing (advance timing)
The controller has three timing modes; Automatic works perfect for
ALL types of brushless motors. But for some brands or homemade
brushless motors, you have to set the right timing for optimal
efficiency and power; 7 degree for multi-pole motors, 30 degree for
outrunner motors.
Automatic: (7 ~ 30 degree)
- - - - -
Soft: (7 degree)
-- -- -- -- --
Hard (22 ~ 30 degree)
--- --- --- --- ---
7. Switching Frequency
The controller has two switching frequency modes. 8KHz is good
for ALL types of two pole motor, 16KHz is good for multi pole motors.

9. Active RPM Control (Heli Governor mode)
_._ rpm control off
_.._ first range (up to 20.000 electrical rpm)
_..._ second range (up to 50.000 electrical rpm)
_...._ third range (up to 100.000 electrical rpm)
Caution!:
Warning! Model aircraft equipped with high power motor can kill.
High power motor systems can be very dangerous! High currents
can heat wires and batteries, causing fires and burning skin or
anything that comes in contact. Follow the wiring connection carefully!
Always fly at a sanctioned field. Never fly over or near spectators.
Even though this controller is equipped with a safety arming program,
you should still use caution when connecting the main battery.
Notice for Operation:
Do Not exceed the 10 cells / 6x Li-Poly or 4-5 servos when using
BEC.
Temperature overload protection is built into the speed
Controller and it turns off the motor immediately when the temperature
reaches 212 F/100 C.
Only connect the controller to a power
source approved for model aircraft. Ensure that the right polarity of NiCd,
NiMH or Li-Poly power packs is observed or the
controller will be seriously damaged.
